  • 3c66259682 When using kutil_openlog(), a file may be opened with freopen(). The first log message via kutil_log() et al. will thus emit a fstat() and possibly an lseek() to find the end of the file before appending. Fix a yet-unfound bug where fullwritefd() would return integral errors (<0, >0, 0), but the caller was doing a boolean test of the result.   • cace5ea73c Optimise the year calculation. This was doing a linear scan of each year, accumulating the days per year. Convert it to doing a linear scan til the 400 year barrier, then consuming the intervening eras all at once. This makes the computation effectively constant-time.
